When bodybuilding with AAS, the level of testosterone running in the body is much higher than the level of naturally occurring testosterone. This leads to a decrease in natural testosterone levels. When the AAS cycle is over and the intake of exogenous AAS is abruptly stopped, the body will be in a low testosterone state.
As a large number of exogenous AAS enter the body and are converted into more estrogen after aromatization, which further inhibits the secretion of endogenous testosterone, it will also lead to the rise of estrogen level, even much higher than the normal level, bringing corresponding estrogen side effects.
Low testosterone levels can lead to:
lethargy
Loss of muscle mass
Lower confidence
Decreased libido
High levels of estrogen can lead to:
Gynecomastia
Become overly emotional
The body is more likely to accumulate fat
Water retention and loss of muscle mass
SERM Clomid has the effect of blocking estrogen while helping to restore one’s own testosterone level. It is used by many Bodybuilders as an anti-estrogen.
SERM clomid as anti-estrogen, What is the dosage of clomid?
When bodybuilder uses Clomid in AAS cycle, it is usually used in low dosages to protect the body from the effects of estrogen. Most bodybuilder experiences have proven that 25mg of clomid dosage per day is sufficient to counter the possible estrogen side effects of AAS cycle.
If bodybuilder 25mg of clomid dosage per day was not enough to combat the side effects of AAS cycle, bodybuilder would usually use Clomid in combination with Nolvadex.
Common dosages of Clomid are 25mg,50mg, and 100mg.
The male bodybuilder dosage of Clomid is 25 to 50mg/day, depending on the severity of inhibition. Blood tests are usually required to confirm the pct regimen and the dosage.
If testosterone levels did not decrease by more than 20%, Clomid was administered at a dosage of 25mg/day for 4 weeks.
If testosterone levels fall by more than 20%, Clomid is given at a dosage of 50mg/day for 2 weeks and 25mg/day for 2 weeks.
When the dosage of Clomid needs to be increased, it needs to be increased for the first two weeks and then lowered for the next two weeks to reduce the side effects of the drug.
Clomid is commonly used in an oral form because of its good bioavailability. Usually in the AAS cycle, the Clomid dosage is often started at a low dosage, and in the pct cycle, the dosage starts at a higher dosage and ends at a lower dosage. When Clomid is used as a pct drug, primarily to block estrogen effects and increase endogenous testosterone levels, the cycle is usually 4 weeks. Some Bodybuilders using more powerful AAS will extend the pct cycle to 8 weeks, depending on bodybuilder experience and actual blood test results.
