SNAC, short for Salcaprozate sodium, is a major intestinal osmotic enhancer (PE) that can accompany poorly permeable macromolecules across the plasma membrane in a transcellular mode of action. 2.For the test subjects ingesting MK677 powder containing SNAC, the effect reached a peak of 4.7 30 minutes after ingesting the powder; For those who ingested MK677 powder without SNAC, the effect peaked at 2.2 after 135 minutes.
3.The results showed that the addition of SNAC did not shorten the action time of MK677 powder.
4.The above experiments indicate that the addition of SNAC to oral preparations can provide a faster time of action and a higher intensity of action at peak activity levels. Moreover, the addition of SNAC had no effect on the duration of action of the product.
