Tamoxifen is one of the main PCT drugs and is also an anti-estrogen, so it can prevent estrogen in the cycle as well as in the PCT cycle. So, how to use it?
When you use Tamoxifen in cycle, you use the anti-estrogen effect of Tamoxifen. Tamoxifen, as a selective estrogen receptor regulator, selectively acts on the corresponding parts of the body, avoiding the impact on other parts of the body, with fewer side effects, more safer.
If you start to feel depressed during the cycle, it could be caused by elevated estrogen levels. If you start to feel breast swelling, or other discomfort or nipple pain, may need to add Tamoxifen to the cycle, but if there are no symptoms, you may not need to add it.
Adding Tamoxifen at this time does not require too high a dose, 10mg daily or every other day is usually enough to suppress the effects of estrogen.
If bodybuilder is using a high dose or highly aromatic anabolic steroid such as Dianabol during the cycle, the addition of Tamoxifen alone may not be sufficient to eliminate estrogen side effects. In this case, Add aromatase inhibitors such as Arimidex have maximum protection.
Tamoxifen exerts a slight estrogen effect in the liver and can promote fat loss. For this reason, bodybuilder adds it to the end of the cycle for fat reduction purposes.
The main goal of PCTS is to restart the production of natural testosterone that has been inhibited during the steroid cycle, and Tamoxifen is the most commonly used PCT drug. It promotes the secretion of endogenous testosterone by stimulating the release of luteinizing hormone LH and follicle-stimulating hormone FSH, helping bodybuilder’s endogenous testosterone levels to return to normal as soon as possible.
IN PCT, the usual dose is 20mg daily. Some Bodybuilders will use a higher dose of Tamoxifen at the beginning of the PCT to help stimulate rapid recovery of natural testosterone. For this reason, they administered 40mg of Tamoxifen daily during the first half of the PCT and reduced the daily dose to 20mg during the second half.
Tamoxifen has a long half-life and its metabolites are more active, so using a moderate dose in PCTS will do the trick, without the need for continuous high doses. The typical PCT cycle length is 6-8 weeks.
