How does Clomid restore testosterone levels

10/31/2022

Men’s testosterone levels usually decline slowly as they age. From the age of 40 onwards, testosterone levels in men fall by 1% to 2% a year. However, testosterone levels can also fall rapidly due to conditions such as stroke, trauma, diabetes, liver disease, kidney disease, obesity, heart attack or medication.

It’s not just that people with low testosterone feel bad, have difficulty erecting, have low libido, fatigue, mood changes, sleep problems or have trouble maintaining muscle mass. It can also affect cardiovascular and bone health in middle-aged and older men.

Some men with low testosterone levels take testosterone replacement therapy to boost their overall hormone levels with exogenous supplementation of AAS. This includes injections, gels, etc. However, all exogenously replenished AAS, while increasing overall testosterone levels in men, suppress natural testosterone levels, making endogenous testosterone levels even lower. Testosterone replacement therapy can also cause testicular atrophy and fertility problems.

Clomid is not an AAS, does not suppress natural testosterone levels, and can help restore testosterone levels.

Clomid restore testosterone level

Clomid works by blocking estrogen feedback from the pituitary and hypothalamus. When supplement exogenous AAS, large amounts of androgens are aromatic in the body to produce estrogen, which activates a negative feedback mechanism in the hypothalamic-pituitary-testicular axis, stimulating the pituitary gland to stop producing testosterone. When Clomid blocks the effects of estrogen, estrogen’s negative feedback mechanism is not triggere and the body makes more testosterone.

Therefore, not only testosterone-suppressed Bodybuilders, but also some non-Bodybuilders with low testosterone levels use Clomid to increase their testosterone levels.

Clomid has been used by a large number of people since it was approved by the FDA for medical use in 1967. A large number of in-person users have shown that Clomid is a safe compound. Side effects are usually mild, such as bloating, nausea or headaches, and few people experience more serious side effects with Clomid.

In the bodybuilder population, Clomid is the drug of choice for post-cycle repair after finishing their AAS cycle and has helped a large number of Bodybuilders restore their normal testosterone levels.
